RUBY OVENDEN

The last project I was set during my time at UCA was titled 'Skin & Bones'. The task was to design absolutely anything based on the body within a three week time frame. I initially created a design sheet with all the ideas I could think of, one for each area of the topic. The idea I decided to develope and follow was working with clay and facial features, I moulded an eye out of clay and then took a photo of it, using photoshop I repeated it and created a pattern of eyes, this made me realise I could use it as a whole wall installation, creating tonnes of eyes. I could also repeat this idea with the mouth, nose and ears.
